1 Rack: QRE: Adam's St. Louis Spare Ribs

A tale as old as fire.
Adam’s Spare Ribs represent the beginning—the foundation—the primeval cut from which the BBQ world was shaped. And like the ancient story, our product image depicts Eve, not because she is lesser, but because Jewish tradition framed her differently from Lilith.
Here, we reclaim the symbolism:

Adam’s Spare Ribs aren’t subservient to anything.
They dominate. They define. They lead.

Thick, juicy, and naturally gluten-free, these ribs are crafted for carnivores who crave bold flavor with no apologies.

The Journey

When I first entered the BBQ world, I watched countless pitmasters say:

“We use spare ribs because they’re easier.”

So naturally…
I went the opposite direction.

I started with baby back ribs—mastering them, perfecting them, and pushing them beyond what the industry called perfect.

Only then did I turn to spare ribs.

Our first full spare rack debuted at the 2022 University of Utah tailgate, and people loved them… but baby backs still went first. Spare ribs were still “spares.”

Not anymore.

From Natural Racks to St. Louis Perfection

We elevated the cut into St. Louis Spare Ribs—uniform, balanced, clean edges, and downright sexy.

And since we’re talking ribs…
yes, the word rack pulls double-duty here.

🔥 Devil’s Pit Rack Grading Scale

(Because not all racks are created equal…)

Baby Back Ribs — “A to B Rack”

Almost a rack… barely a rack.
Cute. Respectable. A great starter rack.

St. Louis Spare Ribs — “C to D Rack”

Can Complain about this rack → Dang, this rack is big.
The balanced rack. Clean. Sexy. Always satisfying.

Natural Spare Ribs — “Dang This is a Big Rack → Enormous Rack”

A full, untrimmed, powerful rack.
The kind of rack that turns heads at BBQ events.

Beef Ribs — “This Rack Has to Be Fake → Ginormous Rack”

Thick. Heavy. Jaw-dropping.
A rack that makes even grown men rethink their life choices.

Wagyu Beef Ribs — “Ginormous Rack → Help, I’ve Fallen Over Because This Rack is Too Big”

This is the final boss rack.
Unreal marbling. Unreal size.
A rack so big you might need emotional support to lift it.

We cut them into 1/3 rack sections, each containing 4 bones, weighing roughly ⅔ lb to 1 lb depending on the rack —
because not all racks are the same… just ask your wife or girlfriend.

Three sections = one beautiful, mouthwatering rack.

A 104-Hour Transformation + 30-Day Cure

Our baby backs follow a 102-hour process.
Adam’s Spare Ribs?

104 hours, with extra time in the smoker, making them:

🔥 Smokier
🔥 Richer
🔥 Deeper

Perfect for the sinners in our court who crave a darker, heavier hit of flavor.

The process:

Brined
Smoked longer
Roasted
Rested
Cured 30+ days, pushing smoke all the way through the meat

This isn’t “doing ribs.”
This is redefining them.

HellFire: The Smoke

Forged in our signature HellFire blend:

🔥 Apple – Idaho
🔥 Post Oak – Texas
🔥 Hickory – Memphis

A trinity of sweetness, strength, and classic pit character.

The Rub

Seasoned with our Santa Ana’s Texas Style Rub, Adam’s Spare Ribs build a deep bark that pairs perfectly with the richness and marbling of the cut.

Texas simplicity.
St. Louis form.
Devil’s Pit soul.

The Flavor

Spare ribs are juicier, richer, and more decadent than baby backs.

Adam’s Spare Ribs deliver:

⚔️ Bold fat-driven flavor
🔥 Deep, intensified smoke
😈 A caramelized, sinful bark
💀 Tender, juicy meat in every pull

They don’t need sauce.

While Adams Apple BBQ Sauce is perfect for Texas lovers, there is no sauce that looks better on these racks than one of our Alabama White Sauces.

The Pack

Adam’s Spare Ribs arrive in our triple-layer protection system:

  • Inner food-safe rib bag

  • Second protective layer

  • Extra-long outer bag for water-safe reheating

Designed so the long tail of the outer bag can be trapped under your pot lid —
keeping water out 100% of the time.

Because of our 104-hour ritual and 30-day cure, these ribs taste:

Better than any ribs fresh off the smoker.
We can make that claim—because it’s the truth.

QRE: Instructions

🔥 If defrosted:
Boil the entire package for 15 minutes.

❄️ If frozen:
Boil for 30 minutes.

⚠️ Important:
Trap the extra-long tail of the outer bag under the lid to keep water out.

The Legend

Adam’s Spare Ribs are evolution, rebellion, and craftsmanship.
The first rib may have been taken…
but this one conquers.

The Invitation

Attention ladies…
let your man enjoy two racks or three tonight!

Taste the richness.
Embrace the smoke.
Savor the sin.

Adam’s Spare Ribs — the first rib, perfected.
