Devils Pit Barbecue was started right here in the Rocky Mountains of Utah. In this state where saints and sinners meet, we've created a new style of smoked barbecue that combines the sweetness of fruit with the mouthwatering sinfulness of meat right off the bone.
We've served our unique blend up and down the Wasatch Front. And while for our many customers, it's a quick hot meal at our truck our our QRE Quick Ready to Eat Barbecue at home, for us it's late nights smoking with the devil.

WHY WE'RE UNIQUE
Devils Pit Barbecue has crafted a new style of barbecue. We've strayed from the straight and narrow of hickory smoke and sweet tomato barbecue sauce that is the hallmark of Texas Style, the salt rubs and tangy barbecue sauce of Memphis and the Savory vinegar taste of Carolina and we have wandered into the sweet seduction of fruit infusion, with the right amount of spice. Our sauce flavors are named after different devils from mythology, history and real life. They include Raspberry, Peach, Pineapple, Honey, Grapefruit, Grape, Strawberry, Watermelon, with each varying on the scale from sweet to heat.
While typical barbecue is smoked until its finished, ours is smoked to draw the right amount of smoke flavor fully through the meat and produces fall-off-the-bone tenderness.
QRE: Quick Ready to Eat
Our QRE Quick-Ready-to-Eat Barbecue meats are sold by the 1 pound in a double-vacuum sealed package for ease of reheating. Reheating/preparation is simple and versatile. Simply microwave, place in Muff-Pot, boil in bag, use Insta-Pot or Sous Vide.

It won't get any easier than throwing our meat on a pot over the coals and in just a few minutes you'll be enjoying fall-off-the-bone ribs, juicy pulled pork or tender beef brisket while your buddies are choking down their freeze-dried meals. But be careful, because temptation travels in the wind and once others have caught the sent you'll be forever damned to the role of camp chef.

If you have an outlet in your truck just throw a bag of meat in your microwave or portable crockpot and you've got restaurant style barbecue right on the job site. Or plug in your crockpot and keep it warm all day. Because our meat is double bagged you won't have any mess to worry about.
